KRISTIN FAIRFIELD

Kristin Fairfield has been a professional singer, musician, director and teacher of the performing arts for twenty-five years. She has composed and produced over forty original songs registered with Broadcast Music, Inc. and is currently represented by a licensing company (NOMA) based in L.A. Her songs have been featured in independent films and several series on HBO and Showtime. 

 

She has a background in both visual and performing arts, having earned an MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and studied voice and dance with Judy Davis, the world-renowned “Voice Coach of the Stars.” She is the creator of Composium, a composition program for piano teachers and students and the co-author of the Breeze Keys Piano Method. Kristin teaches children and adults ages 5-85 performing arts (theater, music) and has edited and written children’s stories, putting on plays and teaching musical theater through her nonprofit PPAS Studio.

AMIR ZITRO

Coming from a family of professional musicians, Amir was exposed to several different instruments at a young age before his formal musical training that began in junior high school with the legendary Joe Satriani. Amir eventually moved into playing the upright and fretless bass, becoming a professional musician. 

 

He has recorded six albums and various single tracks and has toured both nationally and internationally as a bassist.  

Seven years ago, Amir started his piano journey, opened his piano studio in Berkeley and began teaching in small groups. He is a co-author of Breeze Keys and is working on composing his first solo album. Amir enjoys teaching all ages both piano and bass guitar, sharing his creativity and multiple avenues of musical expression.

DAVE PALASKI

Dave Palaski is a multi-instrumentalist who has taught piano lessons for close to thirty years. He was classically trained in the Suzuki Pedagogy starting at age eight. In his college years, he received a scholarship in piano performance at Los Medanos College. He then went on to teach the Suzuki method Simply Music method over the past fifteen years.

 

During those years, Dave branched off into studying Blues, Rock, and Jazz. Dave has accompanied many professional singers, some of whom have performed with the San Francisco Symphony. He has also played the drums and double bass professionally. Dave has a passion for music education and has assisted many students in their journey towards musical self-expression and musicianship.
